We are proud to provide a variety of services to assist older adults in the Raytown community. We offer the following:
Meals on Wheels – Our volunteers deliver nutritious meals to those requiring assistance. If you or a loved one are homebound due to an illness, injury or other condition, we deliver 5 days a week at $4.35 per meal. Learn more or call (816) 356-9000.
Wheels that Care – Volunteer drivers provide transportation to medical appointments Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. We ask that you request this service at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. While there is no charge, we do accept donations. Call (816) 356-9000.
Handyman Repair – Retired craftsmen from the Raytown community lend their talents for light plumbing, electrical or household repairs. The homeowner is asked to pay for all materials, plus a minimum donation of $20 for the first project and $10 for each additional. Call (816) 356-9000.
Senior Companions & Respite Care – For assistance with daily activities, as well as social interaction, we recommend our Senior Companions service. Respite Care offers 2 to 4 hours of relief per week for you or your loved one’s primary caregiver. For Senior Companions and Respite Care, we are proud to collaborate with Shepherd’s Center Central.
