Shepherd's Center of Raytown

The Shepherd’s Center of Raytown aims to harness the gifts of each individual in our community to promote continued personal and spiritual growth, as well as to help maintain the dignity and independence of everyone. Focusing on adults aged 55 and older, the Shepherd’s Center of Raytown is a private, non-profit, non-discriminatory and interfaith volunteer organization.

Welcome to Raytown

"You are doing God's work...helping me and so many others stay in our homes instead of living in a facility. Thank you!"

Meals on Wheels Volunteers

Do you have reliable transportation and can you devote as little as 2 hours a month or as much as a few hours each week to deliver meals to homebound residents?

Wheels That Care

Do you have time two times a month to take an older adult to a medical appointment in the Kansas City area? Drivers need to have their own reliable transportation and be able to get the client, stay with them at the medical appointment and then deliver them back home.

Handyman Repair

Would you like to help someone with basic repairs to help them live in safety and comfort? As a Handyman Repair volunteer you can help someone with light plumbing, electrical or household repair.
